About me and current work

I received my B.Sc. in Informatics and Computer Technology from the Technological Education Institution of Western Macedonia, Greece. I finished my M.Sc. in Bioinformatics at the Johannes Kepler University, Austria. Currently, I am a PhD student in the Systems Bioinformatics group at the VU Amsterdam.

My project is part of the Microwine ITN. I will apply advanced integrative bioinformatics, modeling and machine learning techniques to turn metagenomic data into physiological knowledge of the interacting species, concerning the process of wine making.
