Since January 1, 2018 Bas has become the director of the Amsterdam Institute for Molecules, Medicines and Systems (AIMMS) and Jurgen has become the managing director. Jurgen has now also become a staff member of the Systems Bioinformatics group. More info on AIMMS can be found here

Its amazing how quantitatively balanced growth and protein expression of microorganisms can be studied with simple shake flasks, a flow cytometer, some useful statistical tricks, and a titratable fluorescent reporter protein, which Niclas engineered all by himself.
